The Black Panther is Back!
The month of November brought the much-awaited marvel comics character Black Panther to Korean cinemas. It is the sequel to Black Panther (2018) and the 30th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda.

In just a matter of a week, the movie has amassed more than 1.1 million moviegoers. This relates to a cumulative sale of ₩12.3 billion. The marvel movie is directed by Ryan Kyle Coogler, an African-American filmmaker from California. He frequently casts Michael B. Jordan in his works and it has done wonders for him. To date, Ryan Coogler has brought in ₩45.9 billion and captured ticket sales of 5.4 million moviegoers. Watch the trailer now!
