Popular Taiwanese TV series returns as a multiverse film
Someday or One Day is a Taiwanese TV drama released in 2019 and directed by Huang Tien-Jen. Needless to say, the 13-episode series was a huge success and led to the creation of its theatrical version. Whilst the cast is the same as the TV series, the plot has changed. Compared with the series that features time loops, the movie version embraces a multiverse timeline that centers on the character using their newfound powers to go back and forth out of a parallel universe.

Prior to its release, the movie was also promoted in Seoul, Korea. Within a week of its release, more than 150,000 people frequented the cinema halls. This has achieved cumulative sales of ₩1.5 billion. Moreover, the viewing trend of the movie has been 31% male and 69% female. In terms of age distribution, forty-three percent of the audience have been in their 20s followed by 30s (28%) and 40s (15%).
