Black Adam: Do you smell what the rock is cooking?

The tagline needs no introduction. The Rock, or Dwayne Johnson, is back with a banger. His latest movie, Black Adam (블랙 아담), is the eleventh movie in the DC extended universe. In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed, and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now free, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.

The action movie is sure to add flavor with its impressive cast. It stars the likes of Pierce Brosnan (Doctor Fate), known for his role as 'James Bond,' Noah Centineo (as Atom Smasher), Aldis Hodge (as Hawkman, leader of the Justice Society of America), and Sarah Shahi (as Adrianna Tomaz). In just a matter of a week, the American-made movie has garnered cumulative sales of ₩4.7 Billion with over 457,000 moviegoers.
