This time, I was invited to watch a new movie of actor Choi Min-sik, ‘In Our Prime’ on March 7th. The movie will be officially released on March 09. Park Dong-hoon directed In Our Prime from December 2nd, 2019. He returned to the screen ‘Enlightenment Film(2009)’ after 13 years. In particular, Choi Min-sik, the main actor and the role of North Korean mathematician, Lee Hak-seong. He proved the Riemann hypothesis in this film. There are the other young main actor Kim Dong-hwi, played ‘Han Ji-woo’. It makes good harmonious acting between the old and young actors. Then let's look this photo album to followed on timeline. The ticket office was on the 7th floor. It was in the morning and the semester began, it seemed that there were more couples in their 50s or older than university students.
CGV Sejong provides a goods, two pencils and a sneak preview review event card. While I am waiting for the movie to start, I could enjoy solving the Sudoku on the goods card. Before the movie started, I could see an advertisement on the screen about how to participate in this sneak preview event through SNS. The advertisement lasted about 20 minutes. Perhaps because there are many people infected with COVID-19, only a little more than a half of the winners of this sneak preview seem to have come to watch the movie. And in Korea, before the movie screening, the evacuation route is notified and how to use the fire extinguisher on the screen.
In Our Prime was produced by Joy Rabbit and distributed by Showbox. I really appreciate that was so lucky to be able to watch this movie two day before its release. The movie begins with Han Ji-woo. He is a high school student who gave up math. One day, he found the school janitor, Lee Hak-seong, a famous mathematician from N.Korea. Since Lee Hak-seong lived in Korea without revealing his identification, Han Ji-woo promises to keep it a secret. This story is about N.Korea and South Korea, young and old, and teacher and student. Three different movies lead the story and make audiences moved.
It is a photo of a movie theater hallway. The leftmost poster is The Batman (2022), which is newly screening this time. You can also see the Korean poster of the movie report Uncharted (2022) and Antebellum (2022), which was recently written on the Korea Movie Net website. And I wanted to have an In Our Prime (2022) poster, but the poster was not in stock because it was before its official release. I felt a little down.
